Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Leif Mortensen!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Paulsen Ambrosius and Saam Ante.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gillmore pushes Mortensen up against the cage in a clinch.
Mortensen lands a knee to the body.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
Mortensen tries to circle away but Gillmore has him pinned against the cage.

Gillmore breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Gillmore shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Mortensen defends it nicely.
Mortensen moves out of range of the body kick from Gillmore.
Gillmore misses with a wild combination.
Mortensen shoots and misses

and Gillmore counters by clinching up.
Gillmore blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Gillmore as Mortensen tries to tie him up.
Mortensen throws an elbow that misses.
Mortensen misses with a punch to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mortensen creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Gillmore's defenses.
Gillmore prevents a body shot from Mortensen.
Gillmore wants to take the fight to the mat but Mortensen manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Gillmore breaks from the clinch.
A jab from Gillmore finds it's way through Mortensen's defenses.
Gillmore lands a jab-cross combination.
Mortensen shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Gillmore as he jumps to the side.
Mortensen closes this distance looking for a takedown but Gillmore circles away.
Martin Gillmore has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Leif Mortensen.
Mortensen moves to clinch but Gillmore breaks away

and Gillmore counters with a crisp one two that drops Mortensen! Gillmore thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Mortensen to his feet! Mortensen is in big trouble!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mortensen tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Gillmore manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Mortensen goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Mortensen tries to clinch there but Gillmore circles away.
Gillmore scores with a nice head shot.

Mortensen is rocked!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Mortensen will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Mortensen is looking to clinch but Gillmore is avoiding it.
Gillmore throws a right and a left that both miss.
Mortensen wants to clinch up but Gillmore keeps it at a distance.
Gillmore lands a big right hook! Mortensen looks hurt but is still standing! Gillmore lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Mortensen falls down and Gillmore dives in with a huge hammer fist! Mortensen's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Gillmore runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!
