Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Barbara Boxer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kazuzki Sakuraba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kazuzki Sakuraba has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Barbara Boxer's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yuuki Gou and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sakuraba feints and as Boxer raises his hands in defense, Sakuraba changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Sakuraba working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Boxer's head.
Sakuraba stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Boxer swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sakuraba throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Sakuraba.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Boxer bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Boxer tries to stand but Sakuraba is controlling from the bottom.
Boxer takes a decent strike to the side of the head.
Boxer is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Sakuraba tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Boxer gets to his feet. Sakuraba looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Sakuraba shoots in looking for a takedown. Boxer tries to sprawl out of it but Sakuraba keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Boxer manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Sakuraba takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Boxer throws a leg kick which misses Sakuraba's front leg but catches the back leg as Sakuraba tries to avoid it.

Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Sakuraba shoots in but no luck this time.
Barbara Boxer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kazuzki Sakuraba.
Boxer throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Sakuraba fails with the takedown.
Boxer lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Boxer scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Boxer looks to score with a jab to the body but Sakuraba is just out of range.
Sakuraba shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Boxer throws a sloppy head kick and Sakuraba moves out of range easily.
Boxer clobbers Sakuraba with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Boxer throws a nice outside leg kick.
Boxer throws a series of punches but Sakuraba avoids them all with ease.
Sakuraba takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Boxer!
Sakuraba fails with the takedown.
Sakuraba shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Boxer as he avoids it easily.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Sakuraba ducks right into an uppercut from Boxer.

Boxer scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Sakuraba is still on wobbly legs! Can Boxer finish him?
Boxer connects with a nice cross there... Sakuraba is looking wobbly and Boxer recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Sakuraba to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Boxer jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Barbara Boxer!
