Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Satoshi Kajiwara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Cain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Satoshi Kajiwara is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Satoshi Kajiwara!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Eric Cain!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yukihiro Shimada and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cain scores with a jab to the body.
Cain blocks a head kick by Kajiwara.
Cain tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kajiwara swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Kajiwara checks a leg kick.

Cain gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Cain has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Kajiwara is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Cain breaks the clinch.
Satoshi Kajiwara seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kajiwara throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Cain's waist but Cain gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kajiwara off to one side.

Cain decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Cain wants to pass to mount but Kajiwara is defending the position.
Kajiwara moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Kajiwara looking for a guillotine here but Cain defends easily.
Cain with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Kajiwara has momentary wrist control but Cain slips an elbow through the middle.

Cain tries to free his leg and advance position but Kajiwara is retaining full guard.
Kajiwara will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Cain got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kajiwara has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Cain has managed to get both his arms back between Kajiwara's legs - danger averted.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kajiwara wants to get back to his feet but Cain is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Kajiwara escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Cain gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Cain wants to control from the top but Kajiwara keeps moving.
Cain is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Cain working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Kajiwara's head.

Cain got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kajiwara has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Cain has managed to get both his arms back between Kajiwara's legs - danger averted.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

This has been an exciting period of action!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Kajiwara wants to control but Cain is keeping busy and won't allow it.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

and Cain makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Kajiwara takes a swing at Cain's ribcage but misses.
Cain closes the distance and clinches up with Kajiwara, looking for a takedown. Cain pushes Kajiwara against the cage but Kajiwara circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Kajiwara throws the kick towards the body but Cain avoids it.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Cain.
Kajiwara dodges the ground and pound from Cain.
You can see the frustration on Kajiwara's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Kajiwara wants to get back to his feet but Cain drags him back down.
Kajiwara takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Cain wants to control but Kajiwara is keeping him busy.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Cain thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Eric Cain has got the better of the ground game so far.

Cain goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Kajiwara rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Cain's guard! Nice work there by Kajiwara!

Kajiwara is trying to work for a kimura but Cain is defending well.

Cain kicks Kajiwara off and gets back to his feet.
Kajiwara misses the shot to the body.

and Cain counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Cain scores with a jab to the body.

Kajiwara shoots in for a double leg but Cain sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
A thudding body kick lands there by Cain!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Cain is defended easily by Kajiwara.
Kajiwara wants to clinch.
Kajiwara doesn't manage to clinch there - Cain circles away.
Kajiwara throws a head kick but Cain moves out of range.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Cain closes the distance and clinches up with Kajiwara, looking for a takedown. Cain pushes Kajiwara against the cage but Kajiwara circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Satoshi Kajiwara has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eric Cain.

Cain misses with a takedown attempt - Kajiwara sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Kajiwara uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Cain wants to clinch up but Kajiwara keeps it at a distance.

Cain moves into the clinch.

Kajiwara breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Cain avoids the head kick by Kajiwara.
Kajiwara throws a body kick that misses.

Cain feints and as Kajiwara raises his hands in defense, Cain changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Cain is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Kajiwara is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Cain dives into side control.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Cain looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Kajiwara struggling a bit here.
Cain wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kajiwara keeps working.
Cain misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Kajiwara is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Cain is controlling him well.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Cain wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Kajiwara, who protects the arm well.

Eric Cain showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Kajiwara's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!



Cain drives through and clinches with Kajiwara against the cage.

Cain changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kajiwara tries to avoid it but Cain manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kajiwara to the ground. Kajiwara escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Kajiwara throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Kajiwara avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Kajiwara shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Cain but Cain pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Cain is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Kajiwara has escaped the position, nice work there.

Cain scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Kajiwara to see if he's OK.
Kajiwara can't do much from the bottom here.
Cain is working Kajiwara over with some ground and pound from side control.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kajiwara can't escape the position.
Cain is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Kajiwara is in real trouble.

Cain has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Kajiwara has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Kajiwara has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.

And that's the end of the fight!
Eric Cain comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Cain has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
