Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jake Epping (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcello Cobretti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Cobretti's choice of entrance music: White Zombie - Black Sunshine . Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Marcello Cobretti!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Epping tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Epping dodges the punch combination from Cobretti.
Epping takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Epping throws a lazy uppercut
and Cobretti counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Epping takes a swing at Cobretti's ribcage but misses.
Cobretti fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Epping manages to avoid it.
Epping lands with a nice body punch.
Epping takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Cobretti tries for a takedown but Epping sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
A left lands for Epping.
It looks like Marcello Cobretti has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Epping looks to score with a jab to the body but Cobretti is just out of range.
Cobretti misses with a hook
and Epping cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Epping delivers a nice body kick.
Cobretti looks winded!
Epping lands a leg kick that knocks Cobretti off balance momentarily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Epping digs a good hook to Cobretti's body.
Cobretti tries to move into range but Epping moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Epping tried to score with a low kick but Cobretti checks it.
Epping sends Cobretti crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Epping is motioning to the referee to let Cobretti up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Epping lands a nice shot to the body.
Epping thuds his shin into the meat of Cobretti's side.
Epping fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Cobretti.
Cobretti misses with a straight right.
Cobretti rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Epping moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Epping misses with a jab, cross combination.
Epping defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Cobretti.
Epping will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Epping throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Cobretti stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Epping lands a slapping body shot.
Epping connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
That has opened up Marcello Cobretti's cut even more.
Cobretti avoids the head kick by Epping.
The fighters circle momentarily. Epping darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Epping throws a half hearted mid kick.
Epping changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Epping fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Epping sends Cobretti crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Epping is motioning to the referee to let Cobretti up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Cobretti is rocked!
The cut above Marcello Cobretti's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Cobretti leaves his chin hanging out and Epping seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Cobretti crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jake Epping!
Jake Epping decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
