Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Perry Carrier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacobo Ibrahim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ibrahim comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Cariño Brutal kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Jacobo Ibrahim will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carrier misses with a low kick.

Carrier tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Ibrahim is able to avoid easily.
Carrier tries a low kick but Ibrahim avoids it.
Ibrahim slips a straight right by Carrier.
Carrier throws a head kick that misses.
A low kick from Carrier is predictable there
and Ibrahim connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Ibrahim has gone for a leg lock! Carrier slips out almost immediately though and dives into Ibrahim's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Carrier prevents Ibrahim from getting back to his feet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Carrier might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Let's hope that Ibrahim has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Jacobo Ibrahim hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Carrier throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

Carrier defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Ibrahim.
Perry Carrier has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jacobo Ibrahim.
Carrier just misses with a punch to the body.

Carrier throws a front kick aimed at Ibrahim's knee but Ibrahim avoids it well.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That was a close round but I would say that Perry Carrier will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

and Ibrahim connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Carrier throws a leg kick but Ibrahim moved away.
Ibrahim shoots in looking for a takedown but Carrier manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ibrahim's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Perry Carrier seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ibrahim looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Carrier looks for the body kick but Ibrahim saw that one coming.

Ibrahim closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Ibrahim lands in his opponent's guard.
Carrier controls Ibrahim momentarily but Ibrahim frees himself.
Carrier knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ibrahim on the ground.

Ibrahim wants to control from the top but Carrier keeps moving.

Ibrahim thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Carrier could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Ibrahim postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Ibrahim drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Ibrahim as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Carrier screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Ibrahim! Nice submission victory there!

A determined Jacobo Ibrahim didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
