Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kaivo Huone!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Otou Hek!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Roosa Järviläinen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hek takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Sloppy strikes from Huone. Those never looked like landing.
Hek tries to clinch there but Huone circles away.
Hek plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Hek connects with a solid leg kick.
Hek throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Huone.
Huone clinches up with Hek and pushes him back against the cage.
Huone lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Hek is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Huone pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Hek blocking some punches.
Hek blocks an uppercut.
Huone misses with the head strike.
Hek wants to stall.
Hek lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Huone working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Huone blocks the elbow strike.
Hek being controlled against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Huone makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Hek blocks an uppercut.
A short uppercut from Huone.
Hek breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Huone lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Hek is rocked!
Huone drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Hek right on the button. Hek goes down! Huone follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Huone gets the win via TKO!
