Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chicharito Souza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Jameson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Souza kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Enter Sandman. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jameson takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Souza throws a hook to the side of Jameson's head but Jameson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Souza gets tackled into the cage by Jameson. Jameson maintains the clinch.

Jameson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Jameson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Souza.
Souza avoids a punch combination nicely.
A jab from Souza does it's job there.
Jameson moves out of range as Souza strikes.
Jameson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Souza circles away quickly and effectively.
Jameson steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Souza.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Jameson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Souza. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Souza is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Jameson rolls with it to try and escape but Souza cranks on the arm and Jameson is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
