The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Customer lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Gracie chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Customer can pounce on him.
Customer lands a nice looking body kick.

Gracie closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Gracie looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Customer is trying to escape the position but Gracie is controlling the position.
Gracie tries to stand but Customer is controlling his head.
Gracie misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Gracie throws a strike aimed at the side of Customer's head but Customer avoids it well.

Gracie is trying to get an arm triangle but Customer is defending well.
Customer trying to remain calm as Gracie controls from the top position.
The strikes coming from Gracie are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Gracie moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.

Gracie is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Customer is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Gracie has an Americana. Customer didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Gracie is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Gracie hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
