Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Donald Grub and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tomkins moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Smith fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Smith shoots in looking for a takedown but Tomkins manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Smith's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Tomkins stuffs the takedown attempt from Smith. Smith gets slowly back to his feet.
Tomkins throws a quick inside leg kick.
Smith attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Smith fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jhon Smith. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Smith changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Tomkins looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Tomkins is not content to let Smith control the position.
Smith is working Tomkins over with some ground and pound from side control.

Smith cracks Tomkins with a big elbow.
Smith in side control, throwing shots but Tomkins defends.
An elbow from Smith crashes against the mat.
Smith content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

You can see the frustration on Tomkins's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Smith works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Tomkins is rocked!
Smith cracks Tomkins with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Smith immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Tomkins is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Smith!
