Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pitagoras Euclides (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mano Thao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thao has chosen Sabotage as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Mano Thao has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Pitagoras Euclides's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Euclides fails with a takedown attempt.

Thao works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Euclides changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Thao tries to avoid it but Euclides manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Thao to the ground. Thao escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Thao feints and then cracks Euclides's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Euclides down.

Thao is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

Euclides is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Thao to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Thao shrugs it off.
Euclides wants to control the pace but Thao is squirming around nicely.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Thao lands a big head kick that sends Euclides tumbling to the mat! Thao takes a step backwards and waves Euclides back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Oh Euclides is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Thao lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Euclides crumples to the floor! Thao milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!

Mano Thao decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
