The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bang works the jab nicely.
Donk. Azh catches Bang right on the button with a cross.
Azh misses with a combination
and Bang counters with a good low kick that Azh was not able to check.
Azh swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Bang is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Azh.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bang uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Azh is rocked!
Bang misses with a wild body shot.
Azh is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Bang.
A jab from Bang does it's job there.
Azh fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Bang avoids it really well and circles away.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Azh is defended easily by Bang.

Bang pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Azh defending well as Bang loads up on a big left hand.
Bang lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Azh tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bang was well out of range. Poor timing from Azh.
Bang misses with a double jab.

Good work by Bang as he checks the leg kick.
Azh throws a shot from downtown. Bang moves away and avoids it.
Azh throws a low kick but Bang moves out of range easily.
Azh thows a body shot but no joy.

Azh dodges the punch combination from Bang.

and Bang counters with an inside leg kick.
A big left from Bang misses.
Bang misses with a double jab.
Bang throws a hook but Azh avoids it easily.
Bang looks to score with a jab to the body but Azh is just out of range.
Azh thows a left - swing and a miss!
Azh throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Bang counters with a nice low kick that buckles Azh's knee momentarily.
Azh takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Azh takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Bang lands a head shot.
Bang fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Azh on the side of the head.

Azh sizes up Bang with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Bang uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Azh.
Bang throws a quick inside leg kick.
Bang takes a swing at Azh's ribcage but misses.
Bang connects with the punch.
Azh will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Bang Bang has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andre Azh.
Azh misses with a straight left.
Bang Bang is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Bang cracks a nice hook into Azh's ribs.
Azh has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Bang finds it's way round the side to connect with Azh's head.

Bang feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Azh sprawling to the canvas! Azh rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Bang finish him?!
Azh is still on wobbly legs! Can Bang finish him?
Azh is trying desperately to land a takedown but Bang is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Azh.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Azh scores with a hook to the body. Bang takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Andre Azh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
