PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Zulu Chaka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mr Chrome (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chaka comes to the cage accompanied by Bohemian Rapsody. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Daniel Bishop and James Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chrome closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Chaka is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Chrome.
Chaka throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Chaka lands a nice leg kick that just misses Chrome's sensitive parts.
Chaka feints and then cracks Chrome's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Chrome down.
Chrome throws a series of punches but Chaka moves out of range.
Chaka jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Chrome shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Chrome showed some decent athleticism there.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Chaka is looking to improve his position.
Chrome wants to pass the guard but Chaka is defending well.
Chrome looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Chaka with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Chrome throws a strike but Chaka avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Chrome is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Chaka is aware though and is defending well.

Chrome looking for a guillotine here but Chaka defends easily.
Chaka is in close to Chrome's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Chrome is looking for a triangle but Chaka pushes his legs off easily.
Chaka won't allow Chrome to sweep him here.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Chaka's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Chaka loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Chaka cracks Chrome with a solid left hand.

Chrome is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Chaka will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Chrome has momentary wrist control but Chaka slips an elbow through the middle.
Chaka throws a big right hand that misses.

Chaka is stalling in the full guard.

Chaka with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Chaka scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Chrome lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Chaka!
Chaka tries to lock up and control but Chrome gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

This has been an exciting period of action!
A nice elbow there by Chrome.

It looks like Zulu Chaka has been cut.
Chrome looking to finish Chaka with some ground and pound. This is bad for Chaka!

Chaka is rocked!
Chrome postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Chaka badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Chrome around the waist but Chrome pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Chrome is the winner by TKO! Chrome jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
