Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cross swinging wildly here.
Cross tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Worner paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Cross tries to clinch up but Worner circles away and keeps his distance.
Cross wants to clinch.
Worner moves in looking to clinch but Cross pushes him off.
Sloppy strikes from Cross. Those never looked like landing.
Cross throws a sloppy head kick and Worner moves out of range easily.
Cross does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Worner is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Worner wants to clinch up but Cross keeps it at a distance.
Cross throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Cross doesn't manage to clinch there - Worner circles away.

Worner circles away from the clinch attempt.
Worner scores with a nice body kick.
Cross feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Worner's calf.

Worner gets a clinch.

Worner breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Worner really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Cross throws a right hand that Worner ducks under and follows up with a left that Worner also avoids with ease.
Cross misses with a head kick.
Cross tries to clinch up but Worner circles away and keeps his distance.

Worner has Cross up against the cage in a clinch.
Worner blocks an elbow strike.

Worner breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Worner throws a nice head kick!

Worner moves in looking to clinch but Cross pushes him off.
Worner throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cross lands a body shot.
Cross doesn't manage to clinch there - Worner circles away.
A looping hook to the body misses from Worner. Cross does a little dance to reset his feet.

Cross throws a series of punches but Worner avoids them all with ease.

and Worner counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Worner misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Cross.
Worner has Cross pressed against the cage, preventing Cross from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Worner takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Cross blocks a head kick by Worner.
Worner bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Cross's head backwards.
Cross swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Worner.
Nice body punch from Worner.
Cross tries to bum rush Worner with a series of wild strikes but Worner uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Left hook, right uppercut from Worner.
Cross fails with an attempt to clinch.
Cross bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Worner looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Cross tries to close the distance and clinch but Worner swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
A slapping leg kick lands for Worner.
Cross slips a jab and a cross from Worner.
Cross is looking to clinch.
Cross throws a left and a right that both miss
and Worner counters with a flying knee. Nice.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Worner blocks a leg kick.

Worner fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Cross, pushing him back against the cage.
The referee calls for Worner to work.
Cross fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Still in the clinch, Worner scores with a nice short uppercut.
Worner lands a nice uppercut.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Worner lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

and Worner counters with a one-two to the body.

Cross is rocked!
Cross tries to clinch up but Worner circles away and keeps his distance.
Cross is still on wobbly legs! Can Worner finish him?
Worner lands with a thumping leg kick.
Cross throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Worner grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Cross takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Worner cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
