The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Loow looks for a takedown but Bubba sprawls well.

Loow gets the takedown into side control.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Bubba is trying to improve his position.

Bubba throws a right hand that Loow ducks under and follows up with a left that Loow also avoids with ease.

Bubba has clasped his hands together around Loow's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Loow is looking to reverse the position.

Bubba fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Loow avoids it really well and circles away.
Bubba shoots in and drives through. Loow sprawls well.

Loow takes the fight into the clinch.

Loow escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Loow stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Loow wants it to stay on the feet.

Bubba gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Bubba is trying to drag Loow to the mat but Loow just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Bubba closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Loow did well to prevent Bubba getting side control.
Bubba looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Loow with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Bubba is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Loow has managed to free his arm - good work.
Bubba is looking to advance position but Loow won't allow it.

Loow tries to lock up and control but Bubba gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Loow is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

The referee warns Loow that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Bubba takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Bubba has control of Loow's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Loow regains control of the situation pretty easily.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Loow has his foot on Bubba's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bubba works his way back into a safe position though.

Loow is the more experienced fighter here and he's going to need to draw on some of that experience if he's going to pull this one out the bag.
