Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kerry Mcgee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricky Hu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mcgee comes to the cage accompanied by Superman's Worst Nightmare. Kerry Mcgee has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hu smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Hu lands a two punch combo.

It looks like Kerry Mcgee has been cut.
Mcgee shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hu as he avoids it easily.
Hu tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Hu lands a glancing blow to the side of Mcgee's head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Mcgee shoots and misses

and Hu counters by moving into the clinch.
Mcgee drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Hu gets the underhooks and prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kerry Mcgee. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mcgee blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Hu manages to break the clinch.

Mcgee shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Mcgee showed some decent athleticism there.
It looks like Mcgee is going to stand back up.
Hu has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Mcgee is working away from the top position though.

Hu wants to stand back up but Mcgee manages to pass into side control.
Hu tries to improve position but can't.
Hu wants to control but Mcgee postures up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mcgee throws a strike aimed at the side of Hu's head but Hu avoids it well.
Mcgee in side control, throwing shots but Hu defends.
Mcgee wants to take a breather but Hu manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Mcgee.

Hu wants to stand and escape but Mcgee is having none of it.
Hu not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

and Mcgee counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Mcgee.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Hu is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Mcgee working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Hu moves in looking to clinch but Mcgee pushes him off.
Mcgee takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Hu fails with the takedown

and Mcgee holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Hu misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Mcgee.
Hu goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Mcgee drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Hu tries to break the clinch but Mcgee is controlling the position.

Mcgee gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

Mcgee decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Mcgee shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Mcgee ducks right into an uppercut from Hu.
Mcgee dodges the punch combination from Hu.
Mcgee looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hu is fending him off so far but Mcgee persists. Nope, Hu circles away and we're back to standing.

Hu leaves Mcgee with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Hu's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Hu duly obliges.

A frustrated look appears on Hu's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Hu gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Mcgee.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hu is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Mcgee is defending well for now.
Hu is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Hu lands a body shot in the clinch.

Hu is fighting off a takedown attempt but Mcgee is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Hu to the mat. Hu regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Hu is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Mcgee has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Hu is working away from the top position though.

Mcgee tries to get to full guard but Hu has control of the leg.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Kerry Mcgee.
Hu moves in looking to clinch but Mcgee pushes him off.
Hu stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hu wants it to stay on the feet.
Hu lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Hu drops Mcgee with a beautiful combination! Mcgee stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Hu is looking for the KO!

Hu knocks out Mcgee with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Hu before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Hu picks up the big W with a huge KO!
