Kim kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is "We Be Clubbin (Eye of the Tiger Remix)" by Ice Cube . Yedo Kim has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kim tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Kim throws a shot from downtown. Do moves away and avoids it.
Do looks to throw a body kick
and Kim counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Kim steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Do.
A head kick from Do lands but Kim takes it in his stride.
Kim throws a half hearted mid kick.
Do throws a chopping leg kick but Kim manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Do with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Kim to score with a decent uppercut.

That kick from Do tenderised Kim's leg. Kim is trying to keep his angry face on.

Kim circles away from the clinch attempt.
Yedo Kim seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kim lands a head kick. Do smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Kim closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Kim throws a front kick aimed at Do's knee but Do avoids it well.

Kim takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.

Kim fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Do manages to avoid it.
Do takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kim stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Do.
Do tries a head kick but it misses.
Kim bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Kim really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Do walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Kim checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Do waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Kim.
Kim moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Do looks to land a left hand but Kim moved out of range nicely.
Do chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Kim can pounce on him.

Good leg kick by Do there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
The fight stays on the outside here - Do looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
A bone on bone clash there as Kim blocks the leg kick.
Kim moves out of range as Do throws a body kick.
Do lands with a thumping leg kick.
Kim takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Nice body punch from Kim.
Do uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kim.
Do throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

Kim takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Do throws a push kick but Kim slaps the foot to one side.
Kim changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Do looks winded!
Kim lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Kim looks to score with a jab to the body but Do is just out of range.
Do takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
The crowd cheers as Kim lands an impressive looking overhand right. Do doesn't seem phased though.

Do is rocked!
Kim fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Do.
Do is still on wobbly legs! Can Kim finish him?
Kim connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Do covering up! Kim comes in with a big uppercut and Do goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Yedo Kim!
