Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dirk Damon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mertsi Peltola (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Damon might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Grind With Me. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Damon tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Peltola cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Peltola fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Damon manages to avoid it.
Peltola misses with a hook. Damon ducked under it nicely.
Damon tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Peltola manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Mertsi Peltola decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
