The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arce tries to clinch but Berry moves away
and Berry counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Berry throws a big elbow that misses.
Berry thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Berry scoring with some ground and pound.
Berry lands a couple of elbows.
Berry working some strikes from top position.
Arce looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Berry is defending well. Arce quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Berry has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Arce celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

In his post fight interview, Franco Arce started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
