Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pat Sumrall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Beucher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 29 - 21 - 0, fighting out of London, Pat Sumrall!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bobby Beucher!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Paulsen Ambrosius and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sumrall is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Sumrall dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Sumrall misses with a double jab.
A chopping leg kick lands by Sumrall.
Sloppy strikes from Sumrall. Those never looked like landing.

Beucher shoots in and bounces Sumrall off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Sumrall looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Beucher trying to control but Sumrall is working from the bottom.
Sumrall is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Beucher is controlling him.

Beucher avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Beucher stands up over Sumrall, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Sumrall keeping moving, preventing Beucher from controlling successfully.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Beucher might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Sumrall haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

It looks like Pat Sumrall has been cut.
Sumrall comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Pat Sumrall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Beucher shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Sumrall as he avoids it easily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Donk. Sumrall catches Beucher right on the button with a cross.
Beucher gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Sumrall lands a jab to the head.

Beucher throws a jab but it's blocked by Sumrall.
Sumrall lands a lovely overhand right.
Sumrall fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Beucher manages to avoid it.
Beucher blocks a head kick by Sumrall.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Beucher.
Beucher tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Beucher shoots in looking for a takedown but Sumrall manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Beucher's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Pat Sumrall has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bobby Beucher.
Sumrall throws a good cross that connects.
Sumrall is looking to clinch.
A looping hook to the body misses from Sumrall. Beucher does a little dance to reset his feet.
Sumrall throws a leg kick but Beucher sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Sumrall moves in looking to clinch but Beucher pushes him off.
Sumrall scores with a head kick. Beucher tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Sumrall tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Beucher paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Sumrall lands a nice shot that snaps Beucher's head back.

Beucher throws a hook but Sumrall blocks it.
Sumrall throws a series of punches but Beucher avoids them all with ease.
Sumrall throws a lazy right hand but Beucher sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Sumrall misses with a looping left.
A cross from Sumrall lands.

Beucher shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Sumrall is trying to defend but Beucher finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Sumrall blocking the ground and pound attempt from Beucher.

Sumrall actively working from the bottom here.

Beucher stands up and beckons Sumrall to join him on the feet.
Beucher shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sumrall pinned against the cage. Sumrall gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Beucher has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Sumrall.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Sumrall does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Sumrall is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Beucher lands with a straight right. Sumrall didn't see that one coming.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sumrall throws a right and a left that both miss.
Beucher shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sumrall pinned against the cage. Sumrall gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Sumrall scores with a jab to the jaw.

Sumrall closes the distance and clinches.
Sumrall lands an elbow inside that Beucher shrugs off.


It looks like Bobby Beucher has been cut.

Beucher avoiding damage as Sumrall throws knees to the body.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Beucher goes for a takedown in the clinch but Sumrall prevents it.
Sumrall misses with a knee to the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Pat Sumrall will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Ouch! a nice leg kick from Sumrall, right into the meat.
Sumrall fails with an attempt to clinch.
Sumrall tries to close the distance and clinch but Beucher swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Sumrall throws a sloppy head kick and Beucher moves out of range easily.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Beucher is defended easily by Sumrall.
Beucher avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Sumrall tries to clinch up but Beucher circles away and keeps his distance.
Sumrall wants to slow Beucher down by chopping away at his legs.
Sumrall avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Beucher has Sumrall up against the cage in a clinch.
Beucher blocking some punches.
Beucher wants to get back to striking at distance but Sumrall won't allow it.
Beucher takes a knee right on the jaw!

Sumrall lands a good knee to the midsection. Beucher won't want to take too many of those.

Beucher wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Sumrall has him pressed against the cage.
Beucher is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Sumrall is defending well.
Beucher has had enough of the clinch but Sumrall keeps him there for the moment.
Sumrall scores with a nice hook to the head.
Sumrall lands with a right to the head.
Sumrall scores with a shoulder strike.

Sumrall crunches a lovely knee into Beucher's ribcage.

Beucher is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Beucher wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Sumrall lands a nice elbow.
Sumrall creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Beucher's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Beucher drops to his knees and Sumrall pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Pat Sumrall!
Pat Sumrall very nearly forgot to thank Fossington & Blythe: Gentlemen's Fight Attire amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
