Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Gwen Towbar and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Groove shoots for a takedown but Carver saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Groove tries to score a power double leg takedown but Carver sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Groove somewhat.
Groove shoots in for a double leg but Carver sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Groove shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Carver as he jumps to the side.
Groove closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Carver's guard.

Groove has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Carver after a bit of a struggle.

Carver manages to break the clinch.
Carver moves into range and clinches up with Groove.
Carver breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Groove shoots in looking for a takedown. Carver tries to sprawl out of it but Groove keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Carver manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Carver rushes Groove and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Carver darts in and clinches Groove up against the cage.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

No joy there for Groove, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Carver moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Well Carver has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
