The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from hansen as Klair shoots in.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Klair can do anything to dispel that myth.

BOOM! hansen connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Klair has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of hansen is proving hard to escape from.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now hansen is on top in guard.
Klair wants to stand and escape but hansen is having none of it.

Klair had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. hansen is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Klair Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take hansen's back instead.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
hansen won't allow Klair to pass to mount.
Klair stalling.
hansen is pressing down on Klair's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Klair is fighting to break hansen's control of his arms but hansen is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Jami Klair has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Klair won't allow hansen to sweep him here.
