The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mikhalok fails with a takedown attempt.
Al Jazeeri looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Mikhalok fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Al Jazeeri, pushing him back against the ropes.
Mikhalok drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Mikhalok is fighting off a takedown attempt but Al Jazeeri is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Mikhalok to the mat. Mikhalok regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Al Jazeeri throws an elbow that misses. Mikhalok uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Al Jazeeri's guard. Nice move by Mikhalok!
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Mikhalok postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Al Jazeeri is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Mikhalok, into his guard.

Al Jazeeri is posturing up here but Mikhalok has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Al Jazeeri tries to roll out but it's too tight and Al Jazeeri has to tap! Slick submission there by Mikhalok!
