Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cash Patrone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and K.J. Choi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). J. Choi. Patrone comes to the cage accompanied by Hatebreed - Live for this. Choi has chosen PSY - Gangnam Style as his entrance music. K.J. Choi told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, K.J. Choi!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Daniel Franklin and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Choi. No joy for Patrone on that attempt.
Patrone looks to throw the jab but Choi is out of range.
Choi moves out of range of the strikes.
Patrone steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Choi. That one must have hurt.
Patrone throws a big shot that misses.
Patrone connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Patrone tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Choi manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

The crowd cheers as Patrone lands an impressive looking overhand right. Choi doesn't seem phased though.
Patrone drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Choi is pulling down on Patrone's head. It's preventing any offense from Patrone, at least for the moment.

We're going to have a standup here because Cash Patrone wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Patrone pushes Choi up against the cage in a clinch.

Choi is fighting off a takedown attempt but Patrone is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Choi to the mat. Choi regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
