Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

St pierre shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Fist looking for a kimura from the bottom but St pierre passes into side control!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

St pierre goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Fist has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for St pierre but great work by Fist.

Fist is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

St pierre regains full guard. Nicely done.

St pierre pushes Fist off and gets back to his feet.
St pierre throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
St pierre scores with a one two! Fist had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Fist takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

St pierre changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Fist looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

St pierre is working to tighten is grip on Fist's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Fist has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but St pierre is really squeezing tight and eventually Fist passes out! St pierre breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
