Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Val Lava (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gideon Jura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jura has chosen Pain - Dancing with the dead as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Val Lava!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Gideon Jura!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Dillan Fox and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lava takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Lava shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Lava showed some decent athleticism there.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Lava is looking to advance position but Jura won't allow it.
Jura regains full guard. Nicely done.
Jura throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Jura manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Lava manages to get himself to full guard.
Lava looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jura is one step ahead there.
Lava throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Jura slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Jura really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lava. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Lava looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jura is one step ahead there.
Lava might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Jura postures up in Lava's guard and throws a big left but Lava blocks it.
Jura sitting in guard here, content to control.
Lava trying to keep a closed guard but Jura is proving a slippery customer.
Lava is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Jura is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Val Lava has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Jura throws a low kick but it's checked well by Lava.
Nice uppercut there from Jura.
A bone on bone clash there as Lava blocks the leg kick.
Lava fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Lava fails to land the takedown.
Jura moves out of range as Lava throws a body kick.
Jura bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Lava tries to clinch there but Jura circles away.
Jura sends Lava crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Jura is motioning to the referee to let Lava up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Lava is rocked!
Lava walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Lava limp body while Jura jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Gideon Jura!
Our winner, Gideon Jura, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
