PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Top Turk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jannu The Predator (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turk with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Turk scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
The Predator lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
The Predator throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Turk's waist but Turk gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing The Predator off to one side.
The Predator shoots in but no luck this time.

Turk closes the distance and clinches.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Turk.
Turk utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Turk pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
The fight stays on the outside here - Turk looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Turk doesn't manage to clinch there - The Predator circles away.
Turk feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to The Predator's calf.

Turk rushes The Predator and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
The Predator looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

It looks like Jannu The Predator has been cut.

Turk manages to break the clinch.

and Turk counters with a three punch combo that has The Predator backing up. The Predator nods at Turk to acknowledge the strikes.

Turk keeps The Predator at a distance using the push kick.

Turk fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with The Predator, pushing him back against the cage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

and Turk counters with a nice low kick that buckles The Predator's knee momentarily.

The Predator gets tackled into the cage by Turk. Turk maintains the clinch.

Turk lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

Turk rushes The Predator and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Turk lands an elbow inside that The Predator shrugs off.

Turk crunches a lovely knee into The Predator's ribcage.

The Predator takes an elbow to the temple.
The Predator jumps guard but Turk stands there with The Predator around his waist. The Predator gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Top Turk has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jannu The Predator.

Top Turk is winning the standup battle so far.
The Predator throws a series of punches but Turk avoids them all with ease.
Turk moves out of range of the body kick from The Predator.
The Predator throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Turk.

Turk forces The Predator back against the cage and clinches.
Turk landing knees to the body.
Nice elbow from Turk.
Turk lands an uppercut.

Turk manages to break the clinch.
The Predator is breathing heavily.
Turk displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Turk lands a big head kick that sends The Predator tumbling to the mat! Turk takes a step backwards and waves The Predator back to his feet - he wants the finish!

The Predator is rocked!
Turk drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of The Predator's head, knocking him out cold! Turk is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.
