Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Blas Kavcic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vanderson Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jr tries to clinch but Kavcic moves out of range.
Jr looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Jr gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Kavcic pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jr is keeping the position for now.
Jr is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Kavcic sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Kavcic slips nicely into half guard.
Jr has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kavcic is working away from the top position though.

Kavcic is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Jr doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Kavcic.

Jr really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kavcic. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Kavcic perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Kavcic has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Kavcic misses with a takedown
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
A nice combination there by Jr.

Kavcic is rocked!
Kavcic tries to clinch but Jr moves out of range.
Oh Kavcic is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jr shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kavcic sprawls well. Kavcic wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jr gets slowly back to his feet.
Horrible takedown by Jr or perhaps it was just good defense by Kavcic which made him look bad.
Blas Kavcic has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vanderson Jr.
Jr stuffs the takedown attempt from Kavcic. Kavcic gets slowly back to his feet.
Kavcic seems to have got his legs back now.

Kavcic tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Jr swivels and escapes.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
No luck for Kavcic with that takedown attempt.
Jr tries to close the distance and clinch but Kavcic swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Kavcic shoots in for a double leg but Jr sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Jr slaps away a takedown attempt from Kavcic, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Kavcic shoots in for a takedown but Jr shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Kavcic avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Jr keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Kavcic throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Jr was covering up waiting for the punch and Kavcic finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Kavcic is breathing heavily.
Kavcic controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Blas Kavcic.
Jr dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Kavcic closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Kavcic is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Kavcic is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Jr is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kavcic is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Jr knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Jr is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Kavcic's leg. Oh but that's left an opportunity for Kavcic! He's got an arm triangle... it looks tight! He's rotating and Jr has tapped! This one is allllll over!
