Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sub Hero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dutch Schulz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dutch Schulz has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hero bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Schulz is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Hero knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Hero for a finish.

Schulz had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Hero is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Schulz Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Hero's back instead.
Hero manages to reverse the position and now he's in Schulz's guard. Nice work there by Hero.
Hero advances to half guard.

Hero is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Schulz!
Schulz tries to lock up and control but Hero gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Hero is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Schulz is surviving well by controlling Hero's body position as best he can.

Hero has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Hero unloads with some shots from mount but Schulz bucks and avoids them well.
Hero takes Schulz's back.

Hero is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Schulz is defending well though. Hero let's go of the attempt for now.

Hero has his foot on Schulz's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Schulz works his way back into a safe position though.

Hero is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Schulz has his hands clasped together but Hero extends an breaks Schulz's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Hero.
