The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Paulo Santos and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
dos Passos gets caught napping as Jr dives in and scores a takedown. dos Passos manages to retain guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Jr is in close to dos Passos's body, working some short punches and elbows.
dos Passos can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Jr controls the pace.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jr accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

dos Passos is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Jr defends well.
Jr is looking to work some ground and pound but dos Passos has wrist control.
That's one minute gone in the round.
dos Passos has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Jr should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, dos Passos has tightened it up now! Jr should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
