The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Harvey bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Harvey throws a strike aimed at the side of Maximilian's head but Maximilian avoids it well.

Harvey working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Harvey throws an elbow that misses. Maximilian uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Harvey's guard. Nice move by Maximilian!
Harvey is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Maximilian is controlling him.

Maximilian tries to pass the half guard into mount. Harvey knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Maximilian uses his free foot to push down on Harvey's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Harvey.

Maximilian takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Maximilian lands a big shot there that rocks Harvey but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Harvey is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Maximilian gets his way!

Harvey is trying to get back to his feet but Maximilian has full control of the position and if anything, Harvey has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Maximilian is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Harvey with him. Harvey is trying to defend but Maximilian has an arm under the chin now! Harvey grimaces and is forced to tap out!
