Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mista Miyagi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Sharbutt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, George Francis and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miyagi throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Miyagi looks to land a combination but Sharbutt avoids it well.
Miyagi lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Miyagi lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Sharbutt circles away quickly and effectively.

Miyagi rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sharbutt moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sharbutt moves in looking to clinch but Miyagi pushes him off.
Sharbutt closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Miyagi's guard.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Sharbutt has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Miyagi is proving hard to escape from.
Sharbutt postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Sharbutt connects with a nice short shot to Miyagi's temple.

Miyagi is desperately trying to improve his position but Sharbutt has a good base and remains in mount.
Sharbutt breaks from Miyagi's wrist control and lands an elbow.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Sharbutt is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Miyagi can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Miyagi wants to hold on but Sharbutt pushes him away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Miyagi enables Sharbutt to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Miyagi manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Miyagi doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
