Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between William Anthony (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Perry Roscrow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Anthony might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Holidae Inn. Roscrow has chosen In The Middle Of It Now as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A thudding body kick lands there by Anthony!
Roscrow swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Roscrow tests Anthony's chin there with a solid looking shot.
The fighters circle momentarily. Roscrow darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
It looks like William Anthony has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Anthony throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Roscrow's waist but Roscrow gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Anthony off to one side.
Anthony shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Roscrow missing with a left hand there. Anthony was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Anthony connects with a nice looking jab.
It looks like Perry Roscrow has been cut.
Roscrow misses with a series of wild punches.
Roscrow rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Anthony counters with a straight right hand.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Anthony.
Roscrow looks winded!
Roscrow fails to land with a series of punches.
Roscrow throws a body punch but Anthony moves out of range.
Roscrow misses with a straight left.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Anthony shoots for a double leg takedown but Roscrow sprawls well. He's pushed Anthony's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for William Anthony. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Anthony uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Roscrow.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Anthony.
Roscrow changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Anthony avoids the body shot from Roscrow.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Roscrow enables Anthony to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Roscrow manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Roscrow wants to stand up but Anthony is controlling him.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Anthony throws a strike but Roscrow rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Anthony had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Roscrow defends it easily.
Anthony working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Roscrow doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Roscrow manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Roscrow passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Roscrow tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Anthony tries to get back to half guard but can't.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Roscrow in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Anthony is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Perry Roscrow!
Perry Roscrow took to the mic after the fight and begged the organizational hierarchy for a shot at the title.
