The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sunshine lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

It looks like Angel McClelland has been cut.

McClelland feints and as Sunshine raises his hands in defense, McClelland changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
McClelland takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

McClelland shoots in but no luck this time.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
McClelland fails to land the takedown.

Sunshine sends McClelland crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Sunshine is motioning to the referee to let McClelland up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

McClelland is rocked!
Sunshine throws an uppercut from half a mile away. McClelland sees it coming and avoids it easily.
McClelland is still on wobbly legs! Can Sunshine finish him?
Sunshine throws a hook to the side of McClelland's head but McClelland sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Sunshine has cracked McClelland with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Sunshine lands another huge swinging hook and McClelland tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save McClelland, before Sunshine can land any more shots!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Peter Sunshine!
