Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Daniel McFadden!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Asko Vilenius!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Radbod Blank and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McFadden walks into a straight right hand from Vilenius.
Vilenius looks to land a combination but McFadden avoids it well.
Decent striking displayed by Vilenius there.
McFadden on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
McFadden fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Vilenius changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. McFadden looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
McFadden regains half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Vilenius content to control rather than advance.
McFadden wants to improve his position but Vilenius is controlling well.
Vilenius is looking to take a break and control but McFadden is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Vilenius working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
McFadden avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Vilenius.

McFadden is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Vilenius pulls his head out easily.

Vilenius working over McFadden with some ground and pound. McFadden looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Vilenius looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
McFadden pushes Vilenius off looking to stand but Vilenius dives back in and keeps control.
McFadden is looking for a sweep. Vilenius is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

McFadden is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Vilenius pulls his head out easily.
Vilenius is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
McFadden is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Vilenius looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks McFadden with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McFadden wants to get back to full guard but Vilenius has mounted him!
Vilenius postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt McFadden bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Vilenius and the fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Asko Vilenius!
