Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kendo Yanar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zhaka Zulu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zhaka Zulu will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Albert Achterberg and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yanar keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Zulu is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Zulu shoots in but no luck this time.
Yanar cracks Zulu with a right hand to the side of the head.
Yanar closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Zulu to the mat! Zulu manages to get full guard.
Zulu utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Yanar landing some decent shots from guard.
Yanar trying to move into half guard but instead Zulu has managed to sweep!
Yanar looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Yanar manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Zulu manages to get himself to full guard.
Yanar wants to pass the guard but Zulu is keeping the position.

Yanar throwing strikes from guard but Zulu blocks nicely.
Yanar stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Zulu swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Yanar throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Zulu works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Yanar wants to control from the top but Zulu keeps moving.
Zulu manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Yanar is trying hard to land a takedown here. Zulu sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Zulu misses with a series of wild punches.
Yanar fails with a takedown attempt.
Zulu gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Yanar to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Yanar postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Zulu is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Yanar moves into full guard.
Yanar manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Zulu keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Yanar scores with a couple of good head shots there.

Yanar lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Yanar loads up with a big shot that hurts Zulu! He's pulled Yanar in close but Yanar has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Zulu survive? More strikes from Yanar and Zulu is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Kendo Yanar!
After the fight, Kendo Yanar was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
