Volkovniakoiv has chosen Russian National Anthem - Rock Version as his entrance music. The key to victory for Gay Barr has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Winston Howard and Skip Squint.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barr misses with a head kick.
Barr throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Barr throws a wild body kick that Volkovniakoiv sees coming a mile off.
Volkovniakoiv tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Barr counters with a nice body shot.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Volkovniakoiv enables Barr to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Volkovniakoiv manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Volkovniakoiv working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Barr doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Barr manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Barr is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Volkovniakoiv has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Barr is looking to defend but Volkovniakoiv has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Barr! Volkovniakoiv pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Barr taps out and this one is all over!

In his post fight interview, Vladimir Volkovniakoiv started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
