Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hans Dietrich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Prindle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Prindle's choice of entrance music: Otherside. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hans Dietrich!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Eric Prindle!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Lou da Vinci and Columbo Gatti.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dietrich punishes Prindle's body with a nice straight punch.
Dietrich throws a body kick that misses.
Prindle slips a straight right by Dietrich.
Prindle shoots in looking for a takedown. Dietrich tries to sprawl out of it but Prindle keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dietrich manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Dietrich comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Dietrich scores with a head kick. Prindle tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

It looks like Eric Prindle has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dietrich lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Dietrich scores with a nice body kick.
Prindle looks winded!
Prindle doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Prindle crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Dietrich - the referee stops the clock and Prindle gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Dietrich. Prindle manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Dietrich lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Prindle tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Dietrich throws a front kick that sends Prindle stumbling back into the cage.
A head kick from Dietrich lands but Prindle takes it in his stride.
Dietrich scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Prindle doesn't seem bothered though.
Dietrich connects with an inside leg kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dietrich ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Dietrich misses with a head kick.
Dietrich scores with a hook to the body. Prindle takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Prindle tries to bum rush Dietrich with a series of wild strikes but Dietrich uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A thudding body kick lands there by Dietrich!
Dietrich throws a combination. Prindle tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Dietrich sends Prindle crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Dietrich is motioning to the referee to let Prindle up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Prindle is rocked!
Dietrich throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Prindle takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

Dietrich cracks Prindle with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Dietrich has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Prindle to stand back up!
Prindle is still on wobbly legs! Can Dietrich finish him?
Prindle on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Dietrich finds Prindle's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Prindle flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Dietrich lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Prindle will be OK.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Hans Dietrich!
