Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Manny Magestic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ray Oliver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Oliver has chosen Enter Sandman-Metallica as his entrance music. The key to victory for Manny Magestic has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ray Oliver!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Robert Douchet and Ian Loll.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oliver fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Oliver looks to land a combination but Magestic avoids it well.
Oliver shoots and misses
and Magestic counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Ray Oliver seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Magestic slaps away a takedown attempt from Oliver, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Manny Magestic has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ray Oliver.
Magestic lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Magestic stuffs the takedown.
Oliver shoots in and drives through. Magestic sprawls well.

Oliver has closed the distance and engaged Magestic in a clinch.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Manny Magestic wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Magestic blocks a jab.
Magestic connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Magestic lands a jab to Oliver's midsection.
Magestic lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Oliver at a distance.
Magestic lands a nice hook to Oliver's body. Oliver takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Magestic leaves Oliver with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Oliver takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Magestic uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
A nice leg kick lands there from Magestic.
Oliver misses with a takedown attempt - Magestic sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Magestic connects with a good right hand that stumbles Oliver. Oliver circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

A solid leg kick lands there for Magestic.
Manny Magestic is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Magestic misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Oliver tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Magestic swivels and escapes.
Magestic tries to clinch up but Oliver circles away and keeps his distance.
Magestic lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Oliver rushes Magestic and presses him up against the cage.
Oliver wants a takedown but no success here.
Magestic lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Magestic breaks the clinch.

Oliver instigates a clinch.

Magestic breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Magestic throws a series of punches but Oliver moves out of range.

Oliver shoots in for a takedown but Magestic shows good takedown defense.

Magestic lands a jab to Oliver's midsection.
Oliver takes one on the button.

Oliver is rocked!
Magestic cracks Oliver with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Oliver tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Magestic pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Oliver is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Manny Magestic!
