Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mantis Toboggan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Remo Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Toboggan comes to the cage accompanied by Reaching Out. The crowd seem to be enjoying Williams's choice of entrance music: Remo Williams Theme. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Toboggan takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Toboggan fails in his attempt to clinch.

Toboggan connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Williams momentarily.
Toboggan buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Toboggan misses with a double jab
and Toboggan takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Toboggan dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Williams. That did some damage!

Williams gets tackled into the cage by Toboggan. Toboggan maintains the clinch.

Williams gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Toboggan tries to kick Williams off but Williams keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Williams wants to pass to mount but Toboggan is defending the position.
Toboggan is trying to get back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Williams slows the pace down in half guard.
Williams wants to lay and pray for a moment but Toboggan keeps working.

Toboggan looks like he's trying to stand up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Remo Williams hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Williams gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Toboggan tries to clinch there but Williams circles away.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Toboggan stalks Williams and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Williams's face. Williams staggers backwards, shaken.
Toboggan throws a head kick but Williams moves out of range.
Williams fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Williams missing with a left hand there. Toboggan was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Toboggan slips a straight right by Williams.
Williams connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Williams misses with a body shot.
Toboggan tries to close the distance and clinch but Williams swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Toboggan lands a big head kick that sends Williams tumbling to the mat! Toboggan takes a step backwards and waves Williams back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Toboggan lands with a big left! Williams is wobbled badly! Toboggan comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Williams to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
