Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 13 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tony Jaa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 14 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Buakaw Por Pramuki!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Konstantin Menshow and Aleksandr Martynov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jaa ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Por Pramuki throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Por Pramuki bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Jaa's head backwards.
Jaa is looking to clinch but Por Pramuki is avoiding it.

Por Pramuki steps into range and cracks Jaa with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Jaa flops backwards and Por Pramuki dives into his guard looking to finish!


Jaa is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Por Pramuki wants to get up but he can't break Jaa's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Oh Jaa is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jaa seems to have got his legs back now.

Por Pramuki lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Buakaw Por Pramuki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jaa wants to clinch.

Jaa shoots in for a double leg but Por Pramuki sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Buakaw Por Pramuki is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Jaa dives in and grabs Por Pramuki's left leg, looking for a takedown. Por Pramuki pushes down on Jaa's head and hops out.

Jaa tries to score a power double leg takedown but Por Pramuki sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jaa somewhat.

Por Pramuki throws a left that rocks Jaa and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Por Pramuki dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Jaa regain composure!


It looks like Tony Jaa has been cut.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Por Pramuki wants to stand but Jaa is controlling his arm.
Jaa tries to bench press Por Pramuki off him but Por Pramuki keeps the position.
Por Pramuki tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.

Por Pramuki has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Por Pramuki tries to bum rush Jaa with a series of wild strikes but Jaa uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Por Pramuki looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Jaa tries to clinch up.

Por Pramuki will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Por Pramuki rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jaa moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Jaa uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Por Pramuki.
Jaa is looking to clinch but Por Pramuki is avoiding it.
Por Pramuki waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Jaa.
Jaa fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Por Pramuki avoids it really well and circles away.
Jaa moves out of range of the strikes.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Por Pramuki tests Jaa's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Por Pramuki throws a right and a left that both miss.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Por Pramuki keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Jaa fails with an attempt to clinch.
An inside leg kick lands from Jaa.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Jaa. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Jaa closes the distance and clinches.
Por Pramuki tries to pull guard but Jaa won't allow it.
Por Pramuki has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Por Pramuki jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Jaa walks away with a smile on his face. Por Pramuki gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Jaa shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Jaa slips a jab and a cross from Por Pramuki.
Tony Jaa is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Nice uppercut there from Por Pramuki.
Por Pramuki cracks Jaa with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jaa pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Por Pramuki lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jaa circles away quickly and effectively.

Por Pramuki keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Jab, jab by Por Pramuki - just one landing.

Jaa shoots in looking for a takedown but Por Pramuki manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jaa's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Jaa drops his hands momentarily and Por Pramuki takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A big right followed by a crushing left from Por Pramuki knocks Jaa out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:51 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Buakaw Por Pramuki!
Buakaw Por Pramuki decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
