Bloody shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Bloody was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Garavito gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Bloody to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Garavito utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Garavito is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Bloody is controlling him.
Bloody looking to sit in guard and control but Garavito gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Garavito wants to stand but Bloody is controlling his posture from full guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Bloody closes the distance and clinches up with Garavito, looking for a takedown. Bloody pushes Garavito against the cage but Garavito circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Bloody tries to score a power double leg takedown but Garavito sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bloody somewhat.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bloody can do anything to dispel that myth.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Luis Garavito just wasn't active enough.
Garavito throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Bengam Bloody is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Bloody takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Bloody displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Garavito throws out the jab.
