Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mr Ripley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hasse Hansson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ripley kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The Talented Mr. Ripley - Tu Vuo' Fa l'Americano . Hansson has chosen Saliva - Click Click Boom as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hansson throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Ripley.
It looks like Mr Ripley has been cut.
Hansson misses with a few strikes there.
Mr Ripley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ripley closes the distance but Hansson moves to the side
and Hansson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Ripley rushes Hansson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Ripley has clasped his hands together around Hansson's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Hansson regains half guard, as Ripley was trying to land strikes.
Ripley is looking for a kimura but Hansson is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Ripley to get the leverage.
Ripley is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Hansson pushes Ripley off and gets back to his feet.

Ripley shoots in but Hansson avoids the takedown attempt easily.

and Hansson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Ripley throws a nice looking combination but Hansson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
No luck for Ripley with that takedown attempt.

Hansson is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Ripley.

Ripley will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

and Ripley counters with a left and a right that stings Hansson.
Ripley swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Hansson counters with a three punch combo that has Ripley backing up. Ripley nods at Hansson to acknowledge the strikes.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ripley looks to land a left hand but Hansson moved out of range nicely.

and Hansson counters with a stiff right hand.
Hansson is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Ripley throws a combination that misses
and Hansson counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Ripley tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Hansson smiles and moves away.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ripley.
Ripley slips a jab and a cross from Hansson.
Hansson avoids the head kick by Ripley.
Ripley shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hansson pinned against the cage. Hansson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Hansson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ripley's waist but Ripley gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hansson off to one side.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Ripley fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Hansson to the ground. Ripley is now in Hansson's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Hasse Hansson will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's time! Ripley's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Ripley misses with a double jab.
Ripley lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Ripley throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Hansson lands a head shot.
Ripley feints with a jab and clips Hansson right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Hansson is sent crashing into the canvas and Ripley leaps in for the kill! Hansson tries to get to his feet but Ripley is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Hansson is in need of a savior and steps in!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:23 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mr Ripley!
