The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Taro Takaoka and Shigeki Sano.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Negan connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Bondarenko gets tackled into the cage by Negan. Negan maintains the clinch.
Bondarenko wants to get back to striking at distance but Negan won't allow it.
Negan has Bondarenko pressed against the cage, preventing Bondarenko from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Negan gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Negan passes Bondarenko's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Bondarenko tries to get to full guard but Negan has control of the leg.

Negan wants to work for an arm triangle but Bondarenko is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Negan throwing shots but Bondarenko is blocking nicely.

Negan is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Bondarenko is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

After the fight, Philip Negan was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
