Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Flo Wer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zhao Zhuo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wer's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, My Sweet Lord by George Harrison. Zhuo is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Kung Fu You. Zhao Zhuo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zhuo thows a left - swing and a miss!
Wer ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Zhuo tries to bum rush Wer with a series of wild strikes but Wer uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Zhao Zhuo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Wer moves into the clinch.
Zhuo jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Wer walks away with a smile on his face. Zhuo gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Zhuo dives in and grabs Wer's left leg, looking for a takedown. Wer pushes down on Zhuo's head and hops out.
Wer bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Wer misses with a wild body shot.

Zhuo shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Flo Wer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Zhao Zhuo.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Wer wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Wer throws a low kick but Zhuo avoids it.

A telegraphed right hand from Wer misses the target.
Zhuo keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.

Wer forces Zhuo back against the cage and clinches.
Zhuo lands a shoulder strike.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Zhuo fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Zhuo pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Zhuo shoots in for a takedown but Wer shows good takedown defense.
Wer is looking to wear down Zhuo with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Wer moves out of range as Zhuo strikes.
Wer dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Good leg kick by Wer there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Wer throws a leg kick which misses Zhuo's front leg but catches the back leg as Zhuo tries to avoid it.
Zhuo takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Wer motions for Zhuo to come forward. Wer throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Zhuo throws the left hand but Wer avoids the punch easily.

Zhuo will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Wer blocks a jab.
Wer throws a low kick but Zhuo moves out of range easily.
Wer keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Wer throws a shot from downtown. Zhuo moves away and avoids it.
Wer bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Zhuo's head.
Wer misses the shot to the body.
Wer moves out of range of the strikes.
Zhuo wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Zhuo might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Wer scores with a nice strike.
Zhuo just misses with a punch to the body.
Wer connects with a solid leg kick.
Wer throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Zhuo shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Wer as he jumps to the side.

Wer tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Zhuo was well out of range. Poor timing from Wer.
This has been an exciting period of action!
That kick from Wer tenderised Zhuo's leg. Zhuo is trying to keep his angry face on.

Wer uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Zhuo.
Zhuo digs a good hook to Wer's body.
Wer lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Wer works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Zhuo is trying desperately to land a takedown but Wer is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Zhuo.

Wer fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Zhuo manages to avoid it.
Wer connects with a leg kick. Zhuo looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Zhuo fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Wer to the ground. Zhuo is now in Wer's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Wer is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Zhuo trying to control the position from guard on top but Wer is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Wer looking to hit a scissor sweep but Zhuo is one step ahead there.
Wer keeping moving, preventing Zhuo from controlling successfully.
Zhuo landing some decent shots from guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Zhuo has gone for a leg lock! Wer slips out almost immediately though and dives into Zhuo's guard.

Wer has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Zhuo to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Wer is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Zhuo pulls down on the head and he's put Wer to sleep! This one is all over!
