Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hayato Gokudera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dominic Goode (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dominic Goode is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Franklyn Lucas and Dean Styles.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goode closes the distance and clinches up with Gokudera, looking for a takedown. Goode pushes Gokudera against the cage but Gokudera circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Nice defenses there by Goode.

Gokudera looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Gokudera passes to full mount!

Gokudera is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Goode is surviving well by controlling Gokudera's body position as best he can.
Gokudera fails to advance to Goode's back.
Goode is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Gokudera looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

Gokudera wants to control the pace but Goode is squirming around nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Goode tries to hold on but Gokudera pushes him away.

Gokudera working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Goode really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gokudera. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Gokudera seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Goode is holding on tight.

Goode is squirming around, avoiding Gokudera's attempts to control the action.

Gokudera is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Goode can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Goode is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Gokudera cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Gokudera jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Goode manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Gokudera is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Goode knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Goode manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

Gokudera is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Goode doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Gokudera.
