Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bing Boom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Timmy O Sullivan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boom slips a straight right by O Sullivan.
Boom throws an uppercut from half a mile away. O Sullivan sees it coming and avoids it easily.
O Sullivan fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Boom is out of range.
O Sullivan takes a swing at Boom's ribcage but misses.
Boom keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Boom throws a leg kick but O Sullivan sees it coming and checks it nicely.
O Sullivan scores with a jab to the head.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from O Sullivan lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Boom has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Boom and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Boom takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Boom buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Boom throws a leg kick but O Sullivan moved away.

and Boom counters with a slapping leg kick.
O Sullivan thows a body shot but no joy.
O Sullivan connects with an inside leg kick.
Boom throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Boom just misses with a punch to the body.
O Sullivan throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
O Sullivan looks to score with a jab to the body but Boom is just out of range.
The fighters circle momentarily. Boom darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
O Sullivan throws out a loose jab but Boom uses good head movement to avoid it.

Boom takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Boom will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
O Sullivan ducks under a wild hook from Boom.
Boom has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Boom there as he acknowledges the shot.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Boom's hands are dropping dangerously low here and O Sullivan connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Boom scrambles back to his feet.

O Sullivan ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Boom moves away.
Some bone on bone action there as Boom checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Boom throws a looping overhand right but O Sullivan ducks down to avoid it.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from O Sullivan in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

O Sullivan's jab looks to have found its range, popping Boom under the eye.

Boom shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
O Sullivan on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Bing Boom.
Well O Sullivan has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
