Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Daryl Domino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and shinooke hunter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Domino comes to the cage accompanied by Shake, Rattle, and Roll. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Daryl Domino!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, shinooke hunter!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Yves DeLean and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
hunter takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Domino scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Domino grinds an elbow into hunter's temple.
hunter tries to strike but it doesn't land.
Domino landing a few strikes.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Domino is chipping away with strikes.
hunter is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Domino has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Domino is looking to take a break and control but hunter is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Domino looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Domino scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at hunter to see if he's OK.
hunter tries to escape but Domino is in control.
hunter prevents Domino from improving position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

hunter tries to buck Domino off but Domino is having none of it.
Domino in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Domino tries to advance to mount but hunter denies him.
hunter tries to strike from the bottom but misses.
You can see the frustration on hunter's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
hunter tries to clinch up.

Domino bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
hunter tries to improve position but can't.
hunter sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Domino working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Domino seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Domino's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Domino has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

hunter is looking to get back to is feet but Domino passes into side control.
hunter really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Domino. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Domino slows the pace down.
hunter manages to work his way to half guard, despite Domino's best efforts.

Domino is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
hunter is looking to get back to is feet but Domino passes into side control.
Domino has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
hunter looks gassed!
Domino blocks the strikes from hunter.
Domino lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear hunter down.
hunter tries to improve position but can't.
hunter is trying to escape the position but Domino is controlling the position.

hunter slips a jab and a cross from Domino.

Domino shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Domino is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
hunter is bucking up trying to escape but Domino cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

That's time! Domino's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Domino throws a solid leg kick but hunter takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Domino.

hunter gets caught flat footed, as Domino shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Domino is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
hunter looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Domino puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
hunter is looking to control Domino's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can hunter avoid being mounted?
Domino wants to take a breather but hunter is having none of it.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
hunter wants to improve his position but Domino is controlling well.
Domino slows the pace down in half guard.
Domino works his way into full mount!
hunter is breathing heavily.

Domino is working for a guillotine from mount but hunter frees his head quite easily.

Domino lands a big shot there that rocks hunter but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Domino has control of hunter's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and hunter regains control of the situation pretty easily.

hunter is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Domino cracks hunter with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Domino is trying to control the action in half guard but hunter is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Domino connects with a nice short shot to hunter's temple.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

hunter tries to roll over but Domino keeps him under control.

BOOM! Domino connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Domino pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
hunter is desperately trying to improve his position but Domino has a good base and remains in mount.

Domino is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. hunter can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Domino darts in and clinches hunter up against the cage.
hunter misses with an elbow over the top.
hunter swings wildly with an uppercut but Domino uses good head movement to avoid it.

Domino is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Domino seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down hunter for as long as he can get away with.

Well Domino has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
