PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between David Lang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Easton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lang comes to the cage accompanied by Ice cream paint job. Jason Easton will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, David Lang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jason Easton!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, John Roberts and Dean Styles.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lang shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Lang stops Easton from getting back to his feet.

Lang is looking for a kimura here.
Lang thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Easton's head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lang prevents Easton from standing back up.
Lang could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Easton is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Lang wants to pass to mount but Easton is defending the position.
Easton wants to get back to his feet.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Easton has hold of Lang's hands but Lang slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Lang is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Easton doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Lang.
Lang seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Lang stalling.
Lang throwing shots but Easton is blocking nicely.
Lang is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Easton is looking to escape.
Easton has hold of Lang's hands but Lang slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Lang moves into full mount! Easton won't be happy about that!
Lang loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Easton scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Lang land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Lang stands and salutes the crowd.
