Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Ericksson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dante Vader (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ericksson closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Ericksson has hold of one of Vader's legs. Vader is fighting the takedown attempt but Ericksson gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Vader has his foot on Ericksson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ericksson works his way back into a safe position though.
Vader wants to sweep here but Ericksson controlling him for the moment.

Ericksson seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Vader is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Ericksson's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Ericksson's back!
Vader connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Ericksson to escape the position.
Ericksson turns into Vader and is now in his guard.
Ericksson tries to free his leg and advance position but Vader is retaining full guard.

Ericksson postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Ericksson won't allow Vader to sweep him here.
Vader is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Vader had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Ericksson defends it easily.
Ericksson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Vader swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Ericksson keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Vader's head.

Ericksson is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Vader has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Ericksson is looking to defend but Vader has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Ericksson! Vader pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Ericksson taps out and this one is all over!
