The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Taro Takaoka and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grant jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
It looks like Semmy Datsik has been cut.
Datsik closes the distance and pushes Grant back into the ropes.
Grant holding his opponent close, against the ropes.
Datsik lands with a left to the head.
Grant doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Grant tries to break the clinch but Datsik is controlling the position.
Datsik lands a body shot in the clinch.

Grant tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Datsik lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Grant looks winded!
Grant wants to stall.

Grant jumps guard but Datsik turns him against the ropes and keeps the fight standing.
Grant is trying to pull guard but Datsik has him pressed against the ropes.
Grant misses with a punch on the inside.
Datsik blocking some punches.
Datsik throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Datsik lands a nice uppercut.
Datsik lands a right hand.
Datsik lands a shoulder strike.
Datsik lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Grant backwards.
Grant is rocked!
Datsik unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Grant! He's leaning against the ropes trying to keep his feet but Datsik is unloading with more strikes now! Grant drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Semmy Datsik!
